Support Programs

SPACE - Peer Support

SPACE stands for Safe, Peer Supported and Confidential Environment.

SPACE - Peer Support, is an independent online platform, quickly accessible and strictly confidential Integrated Peer Support Program to help employees get dedicated help in the area of mental health.

Our SPACE Peer Support Volunteers come from within your employee volunteers and from other industry volunteers who are trained to provide the right support and proper guidance to ensure the best help for your employees.

Colleague Concern

The program encourages employees to raise non-urgent, low levels of concerns about peer behaviours (e.g. psychological well being, substance misuse, attitude, personality, recurring from non-SOP compliance) linked to the SPACE Peer Support Program.

However, this does not replace urgent reporting channels already that is in place but helps serve as an important mechanism to raise concerns about colleagues (or family members) that may ultimately have an impact on safety. Knowing that these concerns will be dealt with discretely and by peers, removes many of the barriers for those with positive intent who want to take appropriate action.

Understanding mental health and confidentiality in various business settings, we offer an assurance of independence and professional expertise in this area in the following:

  • Advice on current reporting provision
  • Design and build bespoke colleague concern raising systems
  • Anonymized and intelligent data reporting to track concerns, log actions and identify trends
  • Linking a reporting system to a Peer Support Program or on-line referral/self help approach
